    As the Engineering Coordinator, I manage the coordination of engineering design projects and provide crucial on-site engineering support. My role involves ensuring the efficient execution of projects by managing schedules, resources, communication, and quality control while supporting the technical needs of the project. I thrive in this position as it allows me to tackle on-site challenges head on, solving problems as they arise to help keep projects on track and prevent delays. The dynamic nature of this work, combined with the opportunity to contribute directly to project success, makes my job incredibly fulfilling.

    Lead Technical Procurement Specialist

    As the Lead Technical Procurement Specialist at North America Construction, I bring over 21 years of experience to our dynamic team. My journey began in 2003 as an Office Administrative Assistant, advancing through roles as the Purchasing Administrative Assistant, Buyer, Procurement Specialist and the Lead Technical Procurement Specialist. This progression has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management. Reporting to the Purchasing & Contracts Manager, I procure contracts for technical equipment, materials and services, ensuring alignment with plans, specifications, budget, and timelines. I am committed to driving excellence in our procurement processes and supporting our project teams as we continue to build a brighter future. I am grateful for the opportunities I've had at North America Construction and for the support of my colleagues who have been instrumental in my professional development. I enjoy working at North America Construction because of the supportive team environment that fosters both professional and personal growth. Also, the recognition of employee contributions and the balanced approach to work and personal life further enhance my satisfaction and pride in being part of this esteemed organization.

    Mechanical Operations Manager

    I started with NAC in March of 2008 as a Mechanical Superintendent at the Aylmer Ethanol Plant. I have had the opportunity to work across the Province of Ontario on various Water and Wastewater Treatment plants as well as some in Western Canada. I enjoy the people first philosophy that NAC promotes and am fortunate to work with some of the best people in the business. With 37 years of experience in the Construction industry, I enjoy working with and mentoring the next generation of builders. The future is changing but we still need good builders for the much-needed infrastructure of this country and at NAC, our employees have the opportunity to be a part of building for the future. Recently I have accepted a promotion to the Mechanical Operations Manager at our Head Office in Morriston, Ont. I look forward to this final chapter of my career to work with all of our people and projects across the country and continue to build on the strengths of this great company.

    I began my journey with NAC in 2009, focusing on Business Development and Proposals. Over the years, I've seen firsthand how our team’s dedication and expertise have made NAC a leader in the Canadian water and wastewater treatment market. One of the aspects I appreciate most about NAC is our ability to self-perform civil, mechanical, and electrical work. This seamless integration across disciplines allows us to operate as a cohesive family, ensuring quality and efficiency on every project. The fact that we are 100% employee-owned adds a unique dimension to our work culture. It fosters a sense of ownership and commitment that you won't find in larger, more hierarchical companies. What I find most fulfilling is knowing that the work we do has a real impact on communities. By providing clean water solutions across Canada, we contribute to a healthier environment and better quality of life for many. In my current role, I enjoy the opportunity to showcase NAC's unique capabilities to clients, highlighting how our integrated approach and skilled workforce set us apart in the industry.

    I am Dave Kornack, 22 year veteran of NAC. I am currently a Project Superintendent coming up through the ranks as a Labourer, Carpenter Appr, Journeyman Carpenter, Foreman & Civil Superintendent over that span. I enjoy NAC for the various project challenges we face and overcome as a Team. The people are what have attracted me to NAC and continues to inspire me to develop the newer generation as the future of North America Construction.

    Ronan Deane

    Senior Project Development Manager

    I started in 2021 working from home in North Vancouver, and dealing virtually with our client & engineering partners, and, since we were in a Global Pandemic, getting to know my NAC colleagues through Zoom and Teams Calls.

    I spend my time working to develop relationships with NAC’s clients and designers all across the country. Through our Alternative Delivery group (ADCan), I get to ensure that NAC is a relevant player in growing markets, and prominent in an increasing variety of project delivery models.

    I enjoy working at NAC because we are a refreshing mix of experienced master builders and young talented construction professionals. It is easy to promote NAC in the market, because we continually deliver high quality construction execution services and offer solutions to our increasingly broad range of clients. I get to work with First Nations, Utility Operators, Technology Providers, Clients and Communities from all over the country and promote the excellent work of our skilled construction teams.

    Piotr Zerbe

    Piotr joined NAC in 2019 in the capacity of the Corporate HSE Manager. For the first four years had been engaged in improving NAC’s Health & Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) performance through systems, programs, and confirmatory auditing. In 2023, Piotr accepted the challenge of transforming NAC’s business systems to fit evolving construction industry realities and market conditions. With his process improvement mentality, Piotr acts as a go-to architect, integrator, coach, and controller in NAC’s pursuit of operational excellence.

    Vincent Nwosu

    Project Superintendent

    I began my journey with NAC as Helper-1 in November 2017 but left after two weeks, due to an urgent immigration request. I returned in August 2022 as Assistant Project Superintendent/PM and was promoted to Project Superintendent for Project-285 by February 2023. I believe I am building a successful career with NAC and have a strong passion for advancing in leadership. I am committed to contributing, sharing knowledge, coaching, and developing the organization, while giving back to my immediate community.

    Alternate Delivery Manager

    My journey at NAC began in 2012 as a junior estimator before I even finished post-secondary school. I held a co-op position during my studies and eventually returned to take on a permanent role as a Field Engineer. Since then, I've traveled across the country with the company, embracing every opportunity that came my way. I've made some of my best memories with the amazing people I've met along the way, and I’m confident that these friendships will last a lifetime. I’m now based at their head office in Morriston, Ontario, where I focus on alternative delivery markets.

    My journey at NAC began through a co-op internship program while I was studying at the University of British Columbia. In April 2019, I was hired as a Project Coordinator (Co-op) for the Arbutus Water Treatment Plant Project Phase 2. Since then, I have grown to appreciate my experiences and opportunities here at NAC. Over the past five years with NAC, I have had the opportunity to work on various projects that have contributed significantly to my professional growth and development. Currently, I am proud to be a part of the South End WPCC project as an Assistant Project Manager. The one key thing I truly value here at NAC is being recognized and appreciated for my qualities, contributions, and perspectives. Embracing individuality allows for creativity, innovation, and a sense of belonging that goes beyond mere statistics or labels.

    Senior Project Manager

    Started with NAC in 1998 as an Electrical Foreman. Over the years I have conducted roles such as Electrical Superintendent, National Electrical and Commissioning Operations Manager. Since 2013 I have been performing the role Sr Project Manager responsible for the oversight and direction of multiple projects in Western Canada. It has been an rewarding career path with personal growth and resulting promotions. Over the years, I have been involved in well over 100 water and wastewater infrastructure projects. By working hard each and every day with a keen sense of business acumen, leadership and management overall success and client satisfaction have been achieved while gaining many friendships within the overall NAC Team.

    Alexandre Bigeau

    Project Manager

    After obtaining my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at the University of Ottawa, I was hired by NAC in 2021 as a Project Coordinator on a major wastewater treatment plant upgrades project. I was later assigned to another successful project as a Project Superintendent and I am currently working for the company as a Project Manager. As a Project Manager, I am accountable for the financial and operational success of the project. Working closely with our NAC team and other stakeholders to execute the project is paramount, especially where safety, quality, schedule and fiscal responsibility are of utmost importance. I am thankful for the career development opportunities that were granted to me thus far, and I enjoy the challenges that accompany them. With NAC’s support, I also intend on achieving my goal of obtaining my P.Eng. license.
