Seymour-Capilano Water UtilityThe Greater Vancouver Water District (GVRD) is implementing the Seymour-Capilano Filtration 600 million dollar project as part of the Drinking Water Treatment Program to improve the availability and quality of drinking water to its customers. Projects include a new drinking water filtration plant‹the world's largest ultraviolet disinfection facility 7.2-kilometre twin tunnels linking the Seymour and Capilano watersheds, a new communications tower at the Seymour Falls Dam, a seismic upgrade to the Seymour Falls Dam and a new watermain twinning the existing main linking the Seymour plant to Burrard Inlet.
