Project Coordinator (Junior) - Tofino, BC

NAC is currently seeking a Junior Project Coordinator, for our Waste Water Treatment Plant project in Tofino, BC. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.
Location: 
Tofino, British Columbia

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Junior Project Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and details of the project’s contract management, documentation, and reporting, making this role vital to the project management team.  Effective project coordination ensures that information is timely and clear and the progression of the construction work is uninterrupted.

  • Field Engineering/Inspections
  • Field QA/QC Coordination and related inspections
  • Coordination of site logistics
  • Site material and equipment shipping and receiving 
  • Assist the Project Superintendent on the daily operational items
  • General document control 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or diploma in construction management
  • Ability to learn and adapt
  • General understanding of construction
  • First-Aid Certification is an asset
  • Understanding of Project Control and CPM Schedule is an asset
  • Proficient computer skills, MS Office Suite (Procore is an asset)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Work effectively independently, with minimal supervision
  • High level of initiative and keen interest in technical problem solving
  • Valid WHMIS and Health and Safety Awareness Training for workers/supervisors certificates are required
