Kemptville WPCP Expansion Advances Through Key Structural Milestones

As spring brings renewed energy, NAC’s Kemptville Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) Expansion project is making impressive strides. With winter weather challenges now behind us, the site is showing clear signs of progress as structural work reaches new heights and the next phase begins to take shape.

This past quarter, our crews completed all base slabs for both the Headworks Building and the Primary Clarifier Tank—significant milestones that set the foundation for future development. Concrete wall work is also well underway in these areas, with the structures now beginning to visibly emerge across the site.

As temperatures rise, mechanical and electrical scopes are preparing to ramp up. Commissioning plans are also beginning to take shape, setting the stage for a productive season ahead.

In support of this progress, NAC has expanded the project team—welcoming a new Civil Superintendent, Electrical Superintendent, and two new project coordinators to the crew. Their experience and fresh perspective will help drive continued success on site.

We’re grateful for the dedication and teamwork shown by everyone involved. Together, we’re building infrastructure that will serve the Kemptville community for years to come.
