The Herridge Reservoir project consisted of a concrete buried reservoir replacing an existing reservoir, a buried distribution center directing flow to the appropriate reservoir, an overflow pond, a 27.6 Kv substation, and new valve and flow meter chambers.

The RDC is connected to 2 feeder mains with 2 1800-1500 mm CPP distribution mains leaving the RDC to each reservoir. The new reservoir was connected to the existing pump station through a new CPP piping with overflow piping from each reservoir to the overflow pond for emergency protection.

Due to the importance of the 2 watermains, the need for a 750 mm and 600 mm live tap and by-pass systems were required for a valve chamber and flow meter chamber within the site limits. The project also required new CPP watermains to be installed throughout the site.

NAC self performed all concrete work, rebar installations, excavations, yard piping, mechanical, and electrical works for this project.
