Bearspaw Water Treatment Plant Process & Mechanical Improvements
The Bearspaw WTP Process & Mechanical Improvements project involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of a clarifier thickener system consisting of a flocculation mixer, inclined plate settler pack and launders, steel support bridge, and other accessories.
The scope of work also includes the supply and installation of a progressive cavity pump for the polymer feed and post-dilution system, the supply and installation of a rotary lube pump (sludge extraction pump), upgrades to the process mechanical systems, piping, fittings, valves, and accessories, and the integration of the new equipment with the plant instrumentation, controls systems, and components.
Further to this, the Stage I and Stage II Valve Installation and Piping Modifications include the supply and installation of piping and valves, the installation of owner-supplied valves, including 1 x 1200 mm valve and electrical actuator for the south feeder and 1 x 1350 mm valve and electric actuator for the north feeder, and miscellaneous structural steel, electrical, and instrumentation work.
