NAC Part of Consortium Behind Saint John’s $217M Safe Drinking Water Project

NAC is proud to have played a key role in delivering the City of Saint John’s Safe, Clean Drinking Water Project — a transformative $217 million infrastructure initiative recently featured in Daily Commercial News.

Led by ACCIONA as part of a public-private partnership (P3), the project included the construction of a 75-million-litre-per-day water treatment plant, three 11-million-litre concrete storage reservoirs, and over 26 kilometres of new pipeline. NAC served as part of the consortium responsible for the successful execution of this critical infrastructure — the largest municipal project ever undertaken in New Brunswick.

Since becoming fully operational in 2019, the facility has been providing reliable, high-quality drinking water to more than 70,000 Saint John residents, improving public health and system resilience for decades to come.
