The work at Lemieux Island consists of expansion to the existing 12 cell filter gallery plus significant retrofit to the existing facility involving numerous tie-ins and shut downs.

The scope includes; six new filter cells and gallery extension over the existing south reservoir, extensive concrete refurbishing and baffle installations within each reservoir, sequenced retrofit to the existing floc tanks including baffle installations, a new blower building, new flow metering chambers, new sections of CPP piping requiring multiple tie-ins completely re-directing process flow for the facility, installation of new low lift pumps including refurbishment of existing pumps, plus the complete sequenced overhaul to electrical distribution and PLC systems all while keeping the entire facility in continuous operation
