Burloak Water Purification Plant
The Burloak Water Purification Plant involved the construction of a new water treatment complex with 13,000 m3 of cast in place concrete including a low lift pumping station, flocculation tanks, membrane filter tanks, multi-celled contactor tanks and a clearwell reservoir.
Also included were traveling screens, low lift pumping equipment, Zenon Ultra-filtration Equipment, Fuju Ozonation Equipment, permeate and backwash pumps, blowers, backpulse storage tanks and associated equipment, waste neutralization tanks and associated equipment, waste equalization tanks and pumping equipment, UV disinfection systems, high lift pumping equipment, chemical feed and storage systems, chlorine gas systems and equipment, a bi-fuel generator and fuel storage facilities plus operation, maintenance and administration facilities.
