Skyway WWTP is an exisitng wastewater treatment plant located in Burlington, Ontario. The project consists of adding additional Grit Tanks, Secondary Clarifiers, Aeration Tanks, Plant Effluent Service Water System, Blower Building, Generator Building and Tertiary Building

The project also includes installation of new raw sewage pumps, boilers and additional thickening and dewatering system upgrades. All the combined additions and enhancements are to increase the plant capacity and deliver better effluent to the Hamilton Harbour.

As the work is located throughout the sewage plant, coordination with the operations staff and CH2M Hill is critical to the project success. Other challenges include substantial dewatering and limited working space.
