Construction of the Lulu Island WWTP for Greater Vancouver Regional District consisted of a new circular secondary clarifier, trickle filter, odour control facilities, a new electrical annex, new solids contact tank, blower relocations, site-works, underground utilities and electrical distribution systems.
The work also involved the installation of owner purchased aeration systems, pumps, and trickle filter equipment spanning a 16 month construction period.
