Lakeview Wastewater Treatment Plant

Expansion and retrofit of the Lakeview Wastewater Treatment Plant included:

• Addition of two new traveling bridge-type primary clarifiers
• Six new fine bubble diffuser aeration tank processes
• Eight new longitudinal-type secondary clarifiers
• Sequenced removals and modifications to each of fourteen existing fine bubble diffuser aeration tanks
• Retrofit and expansion of existing blower facility to house additional equipment and piping to support additional aeration; numerous additional sludge pumps and piping replacements within existing tunnels and galleries
• Additions throughout the plant
• Expansion to the existing power distribution and instrumentation equipment and systems to support the increased load
• Additional chemical systems and equipment to support new liquid streams coupled with significant yard piping and new tunnels connecting the new plant mechanical areas.
